The ""Entrepreneurial Young Painter"" training program was designed to train and empower young people aged 18–30 who are eager to master the painting profession and pursue sustainable careers in the sector.
In Türkiye, the profession of painting has been gradually losing appeal. Many young people are choosing modern and flexible jobs, such as courier services, while experienced painters are migrating to Europe, resulting in a decline of skilled painters nationwide. To reverse this trend, Filli Boya created this program to revitalize the mastery profession and train a new generation of skilled painters.
Participants undergo a 4-week practical technical training followed by a 16-week internship, providing hands-on experience in real-world painting projects. Upon completion, they receive the ""Professional Competence"" certificate issued by the government, validating their expertise and readiness for professional practice.
Beyond technical skills, the program also emphasizes soft skill development, including:
- Occupational Safety
- Social Equality
- Communication & Relationship Management
- Social Media Training
- Basic Entrepreneurship
- Consumer Rights
This holistic approach ensures participants not only master painting techniques but also develop the social and professional competencies needed to thrive in today’s workforce.
Graduates of the program join Filli Ustam, Filli Boya’s painter-finding platform, where they can connect with consumers and industry professionals, creating sustainable job opportunities.
Equipped with expertise in painting application, color and decoration, and social competence, these young painters are prepared to deliver high-quality service while contributing to the revival of a respected craft in Türkiye.
Thanks to the social skills training they received, participants learned to trust and respect both themselves and their profession, gaining confidence in their abilities and career path.
The intensive, fast-paced technical training also enabled some participants to start earning income even while still in the program, taking on weekend projects and applying their newly acquired skills in real-world settings.
